Mickey 1 or 2? gets around
Mickey 1 or 2? was accepted into the Covet Art Gallery Faces & Figures art show in Oceanside, California in early January. I didn’t get to go to the opening, but it looked like a terrific time! Thanks for the shout out on IG by the gallery too!
Grateful for Mickey 1 or 2? being accepted into the BAYarts juried exhibition. I entered this piece as her last hurrah because this is year 3 of her existence. I am so glad this one has been chosen a few times in juried shows these past 3 years. A merit award was also given.

Wonderful evening with @valleyartcenter and @heightsarts for the Traveling Ekphrastacy Artist Talk- Poets Respond event.
Great to hear other artist’s view, but I was especially inspired & in awe of the poet’s reading of their interpretation of our artworks.
Christine Howey, who chose my piece “Reflection” was amazing in her performance of her piece “Reflecting On My Recent Escape from an Edward Hopper Painting”.
I am honored to have Reflection be the inspiration for her performance- which was truly enjoyable! Thank you Christine for letting me share your poem here.
